Pale and bright white wine. Aromas of white flowers, bay leaf and green apple. Dry fruity, light and bright.
When the Miñano-Gómez family added Bodegas Monóvar to their wine project, they added white Riesling to their unique varieties. This grape, despite being typical of northern Europe, proved to be very productive and of high quality in the lands of the Vinalopó Valley. The good oenological work of the MGWines team managed to introduce this grape of universal prestige for the first time in the history of Alicante. The climatic conditions, rather dry inland in Alicante, made it necessary to place the vineyard on trellises and carry out controlled irrigation during spring and summer. The nine-hectare plot where it is cultivated combines fertile marl land with calcareous soils and its arrangement on a well-oriented and ventilated slope prevents the presence of diseases. We can say without a doubt that our Riesling is the southernmost in Europe.
Harvesting takes place towards the end of August and, after total destemming, it is fermented at low temperature for two weeks. By November the wine is perfect to be bottled and marketed at Christmas.
With this project, Bodegas Monóvar places itself at the forefront of the Spanish production of this very important variety and fulfills the dream of the people of Alicante of having a great grape and consequently a great white wine.
Unlike its German and French brothers, the Riesling from Bodegas Monóvar is dry, elegant and fruity, ideal for Mediterranean cuisine from the sea and in a hot and temperate climate. It is presented in an amber Rhin bottle which, due to its originality, makes it stand out from most whites.

Harvest
The 2019 harvest cycle was shorter than usual with a lack of rain during the collection which happened from 10th to 20thin September. The vineyards used in the production of this wine are 13 years old and since they were planted have been farmed organically. The production yields of our grapes in this harvest (kilograms / hectare) were from 6,000 to 8,000 kg / ha. This results in a higher concentration of the grape components and therefore a higher quality of the wine.
Winemaking
Maceration of the must with the skins is carried out for 6-12 hours and at a temperature of 6-8ºC. This causes a greater extraction of the aromatic and varietal components, as well as enhances the sensations in the mouth. The racking is long, increasing the contact of film substances with the must for more fruity aromas contribution. The fermentation takes place at low temperatures, 14-16ºC, which helps to maintain and intensify the varietal character. After the fermentation, the wines are kept for a period of time in contact with the fine lees, in order to increase the structural characteristics of the wine, providing fatty acids and wider and glyceric sensations in the mouth. The clarification in all our wines are made without any product from animal origin. .
Tasting
Yellow-green color with medium intensity. Clean, bright and well presented. High intensity, with a marked varietal character. Notes of green apple and citrus aromas (lime, grapefruit), which are complemented by peach, apricot and with pleasant floral nuances (hawthorn, acacia), well combined with a balsamic finish (fennel, hay and aniseed). Very well balanced with a fresh and crispy acidity. Very powerful with a good expression of Verdejo that lasts long. Retronasal with herbal and spicy aromas with a certain presence of citrus fruits (grapefruit and lime).

Lolo is a white wine of the Albariño variety produced by the Paco & Lola winery in the D.O. Rías Baixas.
If this young and modern winery stands out for anything it is for the image with which they decorate their creations. Paco & Lola are known as the polka dot wines. In fact, a group of vine growers and wine producers located in the prestigious Albariño production sub-area ofVal do Salnés (Galicia) decided to professionalise their production by forming a cooperative in 2005; an initiative that is going from strength to strength, and that has already become the largest in the D.O. Rías Baixas with 430 members.
Lolo is produced entirely with young vineyards located in the Val do Salnés; strains that are planted in loamy-sandy, granitic and slightly acidic soils and that provide the Albariño variety with aromatic potential and remarkable acidity. The harvest is carried out manually and placed in 20kg boxes.
Once in the winery the grapes are destemmed and pressed. Lolo ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of between 16 and 18ºC for 21 days.
Lolo is a young and daring Albariño wine that combines the passion for a variety with the attraction of its design.Pairing: Fish rices, Soupy rice, Tempura, Pasta with fish sauce

Garnacha Tintorera 100%, from Micro-Vineyard in Alcosser de Planes with ecology-friendly cultivation at an altitude of 450 m. The grapes are collected manually, and transported to the winery in 12 kg boxes, so as not to damage the fruit. Without the addition of yeasts for its alcoholic fermentation, with a controlled temperature between 20-24ºC. Halfway through the fermentation, the flower must (yolk must) is extracted by static draining to finish the fermentation without contact with the skins, seeds and other compounds of the grape. This process is carried out in small stainless steel tanks. Racking and separation of the lees, to carry out malolactic fermentation. Rest in oak barrels for 30 days. Clarification, microfiltration and cold bottling with nitrogen protection throughout the entire process to preserve the aromatic and taste characteristics.
Tasting: Intense and bright violet red color. Varietal aromas of ripe fruits, vegetal and elegant. In the mouth it is smooth, without astringency, balanced by its good acidity that provides freshness. Senia is a new varietal wine, fresh and young, very natural.
Pairing: Ideal to taste only for its elegant finesse and varietal character, it also goes well with soft meals of meats, pasta and vegetables.

The grapes with which we have made this exclusive wine come from Monastrell vines that are over 50 years old from El Algaiat and La Canalosa in Alicante. Strains traditionally grown in glass and dry land on terraces with dry stone margins, a technique declared an intangible heritage of humanity by Unesco. These are places with an extreme dry climate and where the yield per hectare does not exceed 3,000 kilos of grapes, so the concentration, maturity and flavor of the grapes is extremely intense. Some vines that have been saved since they were about to be uprooted due to their low yield and age. Very careful elaboration, based on a strict selection of the grapes in the vineyard, with harvest in boxes, pre-fermentation cryomaceration in the winery, passing through the selection table, for a subsequent long maceration aimed at the extraction of all the richness that these grapes contain. A patient aging in French oak for 12 months and its subsequent stay in the bottle allows this wine to ripen over low heat.
Tasting notes: Red wine that stands out for its cherry red color with a garnet rim. On the nose, its aroma is reminiscent of overripe fruit, creamy oak, as well as being warm and very toasted. In the mouth its flavor is confit and very powerful with sweet tannins.

They are subjected to a pre-fermentative maceration at 8-10º C, for 4-8 hours to obtain greater aromatic complexity, then the flower must was obtained without pressure, which passed directly to the fermentation, with the addition of selected yeasts, at a controlled temperature of 15º C. in stainless deposits. The mixture of the two wines is produced before bottling providing and maintaining the characteristics of this wine, avoiding malolactic fermentation. This wine is filtered, and bottled very young keeping the small bubbles and floral aromas very subtle and elegant.
Greenish yellow color. Intense and persistent aroma of citrus fruits, tropical and white flowers. The palate is slightly acid, sparkling very easy to drink for new consumers.
As for its pairing, it fits perfectly with seafood, fish, desserts and sweets.
We recommend keeping this wine at a temperature of between 15º and 18º C. and serving it at a temperature of between 8º and 10º C. Likewise, we also recommend consuming it within one year of the vintage.

Celler Mar de Vins was born in 2019 with the illusion of producing quality organic wines from its own vineyards. The vineyards are located in Turís (Valencia). Currently they own one hectare, which they work in ecological and strictly dry conditions. The 2 varieties that are grown are Malvasía and Tempranillo. The winery is located in La Nucía (Alicante), where they make their small production wines. The first ones being those made with Malvasia and those made with tempranillo will soon be commercialized.
Malvasia, planted in the Els Fustalsen Turís area (Valencia), at an altitude of 400 meters with clayey soil and 51-year-old vines, planted on a trellis in Cordón doble Royart. They are organic vineyards, worked in a traditional, balanced and sustainable way with the environment.
Cold maceration for 24 hours. Subsequently obtaining the flower must and soft pressing of the skins and alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of 15oC. Once the fermentation is finished, the wine is aged on its own lees for 6 months. Pale yellow, clean and bright.
Medium aromatic intensity, fresh, with notes of white flowers and citrus. Good mid palate with present but very pleasant acidity, complex and unctuous. Long aftertaste with personality.
Limited production of 933 bottles.
